The new Family or Children Moved to a New Location Unable to Serve Option is for the unique scenario when you and your volunteers make your calls to families to confirm participation and find out that a family has relocated to a new location. At this point, you have two options. You can keep the family and continue to serve the family by mail or you can use the steps below to remove the family from your list.
- Login to the Angel Tree app.

Navigate to the Contact Caregivers tab.
- Open the family profile and click the “Select Contacted Status” dropdown.
- Select “Family or Children Moved to a New Location” option.
- The following pop-up will be shown. Select “Yes”.
- Fill out the Edit Caregiver Address form. You must add the family’s new address to be able to select the “Update Caregiver” button. If a new address is not entered, it will not let you move forward.
- Click the “Update Caregiver” button. Once this action is taken, it cannot be undone. This family will be removed from your family list and get reassigned to a church in their new local area.
