The site is not loading - How to clear cache/browsing data

We apologize that your Angel Tree app isn't loading correctly. We believe that the issue will be resolved if you clear your browser history and cache. Please follow the instructions below on how to do this for different browser types: 

GOOGLE CHROME

1. Open the Google Chrome App.

2. From the blank page, use control + h (Ctrl + H – while holding down the control button also hold down the H button). You will get your history page.

3. On the left side of your screen, you will see the “Clear browsing data”. Select 'Clear Browsing Data'. 

4. Now you will have a pop-up window. From this window select “clear data” again.

SAFARI

  1. Go to the Safari app. 
  2. Click on the Safari drop-down menu and select Preferences.
  3. Click the Advanced tab. Select the Show Develop menu in menu bar checkbox and close the Preferences window. 
  4. Select the Develop drop-down menu. Click Empty Cache

 

5. You may want to also clear your browser history. Select the History drop-down, then Clear History

MICROSOFT EDGE

1. Click the "Settings and more" button

In the top right hand corner of your Edge browser's window, you will see a small button with 3 dots in it. This is the "Settings and more" button.The location of the Edge Settings and More button

Click it. It will reveal a menu with more options. One of them will be named "Settings".

2. Select the "Settings" menu item

Near the bottom of the large menu which just appeared, there will be an item will be called Settings. Click on it.

The Settings menu will now appear.

3. Click on the "Privacy, Search, and Services"

4. Click on the "Choose What to Clear" button

In the main screen, under the Clear browsing data heading, you will see a blue button labeled Choose What to Clear - click on it.The Choose What to Clear button on the Privacy screen

5. Select what you want to clear from Edge

You will be presented with a list of checkboxes for various things which can be deleted from Edge.

Choose what you would like to delete from Edge by keeping the checkbox ticked. Untick anything which you don't want to delete. You can scroll down to see a few extra possibilities.

6. Click the "Clear now" button 
Once you have made your choices about what you want to delete from Edge, click the Clear Now button. The Clear browsing data section

 

Once you clear your browser history and cache, you can log back into the Angel Tree app. You will need to use your username and password again.
